Spam block
A Telegram spam block is an automatic limit the platform places on an account suspected of spam. The number keeps working in existing chats but can no longer start conversations with strangers.
What it looks like
A sales rep tries to write to a new client and the message does not go out. The account itself still opens, still receives messages and still answers people who wrote first. Only the ability to start a conversation with someone who has not contacted you is gone, and sometimes adding people to groups as well.
Why it matters
One limited number is quiet at first. Then the second one follows, a broadcast stalls, and nobody can say who is to blame. The rules are not published, so any “safe limit” you find online is a guess. The pattern is usually a combination: a new number, a cold list, one identical text and a sudden jump in volume.
What to do
Stop first: every new attempt to write to strangers from that number damages its reputation further. Then check its status through the official bot and note the end date if one is given.
Do not create ten new numbers in a panic, since that puts the others at risk too. Look at what went out, and to whom, in the last few days. And build the work so that one block is a minor nuisance, not a pause in sales.

- Telegram spam block: why your number was limited and how to keep workingA Telegram spam block is an automatic limitation on a number suspected of spam: it usually can't write to people who haven't messaged first, but still talks with existing contacts. Check the status with @SpamBot, stop sending from that number and redirect clients to another one. A date means temporary; no date means indefinite. The company protects itself with several numbers, care with new accounts and a choice of who it writes to.
- A permanent spam block in Telegram: what it means for a work number and how to carry onA permanent Telegram spam block has no end date and does not pass on its own, unlike a temporary one that comes with a date. It usually follows weeks of the same mistakes: cold lists, identical texts, complaints or carrying on after a temporary block. Stop sending, check @SpamBot and appeal through official channels. Then fix the process so one number never stops the team.
