Landing page
A landing page is a web page a person reaches after clicking an ad, where they are asked to take one target action.
In plain words
A landing page is a continuation of the ad. The person clicked because something caught their attention. The page has to confirm that expectation, explain the offer and give a simple way to take the next step: leave a number, write in a messenger, place an order.
Unlike a regular website, a landing page has no extra sections. One page, one goal.
How it looks in practice
The headline repeats the ad’s promise. Then comes the essence of the offer, the terms and answers to the main doubts. At the bottom or along the page there is a form or a contact button. Often, instead of a form, the person is invited to go straight to Telegram or WhatsApp, so the conversation starts sooner.
A landing page’s effectiveness is measured by conversion: the share of visitors who took the target action.
Why it matters to an owner
The landing page determines how many of the clicks you bought turn into leads. But it also shapes the client’s expectations. If the page promises a reply within a minute and the sales rep replies an hour later, the lead is lost, and the advertising is not to blame.
The sales team should know which landing page a person came from and what they were promised there, otherwise the conversation starts with a misunderstanding.
Common mistake
Promising more than you can deliver. An aggressive landing page collects many applications, but in the conversation the client discovers different terms and leaves. Page conversion goes up while conversion to payment goes down. Check both metrics at the same time.

- Facebook Messenger CRM: what a sales leader should settle before choosingBefore choosing a Facebook Messenger CRM, a sales leader settles four things: who owns the company Page and who its admins are, where clients come from — Messenger, comments, lead forms, Marketplace — who replies while the response window is still open, and whether reps write as the Page or from personal profiles. Legality and data storage are worked out separately — against platform rules, your country’s law and with a lawyer.
- Following up with clients in chat: when to return and when to stopA follow-up in a chat helps when the rep has something to say on substance, and hurts when it is written blind. The head of sales decides who owns the conversation, how many follow-ups are acceptable and when to stop, and works out the cost of forgotten ones on the team's own conversations. Irritation shows early: curt replies, requests to stop writing, complaints.
